2024 Summer Intern

Job: Digital Marketing Intern
Type: Internship
Pay: $1,000 Stipend (plus college credit - must be eligible to receive)

Venture Music, a marketing agency specializing in the music industry, is looking for marketing interns for a unique and hands-on project in the area of creative marketing strategy and client relations. You will be responsible for leading a marketing campaign for a real artist throughout the semester.

We will be bringing on 3 interns total, one for each of our departments: Accounts, Advertising, and Social.

Responsibilities Include:

• Creating and executing a full custom marketing plan
• Brainstorming and pitching creative content ideas to artists
• Planning and monitoring ad creative, execution and performance
• Acting as client point of contact, leading regular check-in calls and emails and managing client expectations while ensuring client needs are being met
• Serve as the client’s representative internally, ensuring that directives are clear with the team

You will work closely with an advisor and have the support of our full staff throughout the project, but you must be an agile self-starter not afraid to dive in and problem solve or research when needed. Interns will also support the Venture team on other projects.

Ideal Candidate:

• Is highly organized and excels at communication
• Is comfortable working in a fast-growing environment
• Has an in-depth understanding of socials platforms, specifically TikTok
• Has familiarity and ideally some experience with paid social campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, etc) and Display Advertising (Google / YouTube, etc).
• Music industry experience is not required, although a passion for music and a basic understanding of music consumers as an audience would be a bonus

Minimum 12 hours / week required, schedule is flexible. You must have some flexibility in your schedule, and ability to handle client communications in a timely manner (even if outside of scheduled hours).
